THE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND APPROACHES ORIENTED AT COMPANYS LONG-TERM RESULTS

Summary 

Research of the social responsibility revealed that at this stage the social responsibility is weakly developed in Georgia. Private sector is involved in the social projects, but mainly these projects are of one-time assistamce character and less likely are of long-term, which systematically tries to reduce  or/and eradicate the social problems. At the same time, main motivator for implementation of the social projects to be implemented by business is formation of positive image in the society and advertising of their own produce. Such sensitive topics are mostly a priority for business, which are acceptable for the society and cause compassion. This factor very much promotes advertising of a business company and increase of its awareness in the society.  At this stage no types of preferences (stimulation, law on social entrepreneurship, etc) exist from the state for those nusiness organizations which implement the social projects and, unfortunately, the sums designated for charity are taxed.  Business representatives do not wish the social responsibility to become forced by the state regulations. Majority sees essence of the social responsibility in kundness voluntarily expressed by business.
